Ailunce made a new video about BlueDV for Windows and the Ailunce HD2 V3 with DMR. See my update 15 oct 2026 about the Android version.
Update 15 oct 2026:
If you have an Ailunce HD1 V3, you can test the new BlueDMR Android software. You can plug in the radio in the USB port and use DMR in terminal mode. You can also use the app in background!

Update 14 oct 2026:
- Uploaded new software to Google Play store. Waiting for Google to review it.
- Changed the webradio a bit for Peanut
- Worked on my DMR debugger to support GPS, TA etc. Checking if DMR radios are using correct protocols.
Update 13 oct 2026:
- Nice ! In the new firmware v3.1.9 is DMR terminal mode for the Ailunce HD2 V3. Keep in mind!! You need the V3 hardware version.
Update 12 oct 2026:
- Fixed some small bugs on the new Ailunce software.
- Created a ventilation duct adapter in Fusion 360 ( free edition ).
The goal is to automatically control the ventilation system using Home Assistant based on the measured humidity level. When the humidity rises above a configurable threshold, Home Assistant should automatically turn on the ventilation to remove excess moisture from the room. Once the humidity drops below a defined level, the ventilation should automatically turn off.
Update 11 oct 2026:
- Playing with ESPHome project. Added temperature sensor and humidity sensor to my room. Created a printable case for it.
- Worked on Ailunce project. Fixed some small bugs.

- Received my second Ailunce radio. This time a special version where I write new software for. Very nice!!

- Fixes some bugs on the DStar Echo on the XLX076
- Working on the BlueDV for Mac. Can make QSO now on DMR, Fusion and D-Star.
- Working on a Golf app. ( measuring distance between my position and the hole ). Now also working on my iWatch.

Added echolink proxy mode for BlueDV Radio.

Created dashboard with touch button to start my music station on my Sonos with the ESPHome project. Added some other buttons to control other things in my room.
Update 26 sep 2026:
Nice. WiresX like Yaesu. I can login to a node or room and leave my Voicemail, pictures or text. It is like a BBS. The software runs on a Raspberry pi 3 with an MMDVM_HS/DVMega modem.
Update 25 sep 2026:
- The Yaesu fusion node and room is very nice. I can upload voice, pictures and messages to a room or node via WiresX button.

- Beta version of BlueDV connect is released
- Working on something similar to Yaesu Fusion WiresX for my local club. Rooms, news, pictures, voicemail etc..

- Still no news from Google about the BlueDV Connect.
Update 22 sep 2026:
- Found issue in the Peanut Gateway. Upgraded to version 3.8.8
- More and more optimisation of the Peanut gateway.
- BlueDV Connect is still waiting for review. Now Apple is faster with reviewing updates.

- Worked the zabbix monitoring.

- Working on the BlueDV for MacOS again.
- The BlueDV connect is still not reviewed by Google.
- Created a new version of the Peanut-Gateway with some optimisation. Version 3.8.7.

- Worked on the Ailunce software again. Hope to receive the new hardware soon.
- Installed Zabbix again to monitor my servers
- Worked on the BlueDV for Mac. Added Fusion, XLX and REF.

Worked on the BlueDV connect version and uploaded a new beta version. Waiting for Google to review the new version. Fix some crashes.

Looks like the performance issues are solved again on Peanut. Not getting a goof feeling about my provider.
I’m starting to play golf again after 15 years — this time with my daughter. Really enjoying it! ⛳️
Upgraded all Peanut YSF reflectors with GPS support.
Upgraded my macOS to version 27. I switched 2 years ago from Windows to MacOS. Working on a MacBook Air M3, docking station and 2x 4K screens. Also upgraded Xcode to version 26 for Apple development.
Worked on BlueDV Connect. Fixed some small bugs. Latest version has support for USB connectivity. Some devices have issues with Bluetooth and timing. USB connection will solve this.
Update 14 sep 2026:
Again performance issues on the Peanut server. Thinking about moving the machine to another provider.
Added GPS information from YSF to Peanut on a test gateway. Will be soon implemented on other gateways.

Deployed new version of BlueDV radio software with GAIN control for EchoLink
Worked on my home automation ( Home Assistant ). Using screen now to show the power usages of the house and in and outside temperature. All powered by the ESPHome project.

Experimenting with BlueDV for iOS with the Incrico B01/B02. Not publicly available. Just playing.
Update 6 sep 2026:
– Upload a new Android Wear OS version of BlueDV Connect. ( hope it will work, I do not have an WearOS device anymore )
– Uploaded a test version of BlueDV Radio with EchoLink support. BlueDV DV Radio
– Working on the Peanut2EchoLink software.
Unfortunately, the EchoLink protocol has quite a few limitations:
- You cannot make multiple connections from the same host/IP address.
- You cannot connect to multiple EchoLink hosts using the same callsign.
Because of these limitations, adding an EchoLink connector to my existing Peanut gateway software is not really an option.
I’ll have to take a different approach.
Yesterday, I cleaned up my shed. Today, I designed a few storage containers in Fusion 360 and 3D printed them on my Bambu Lab. Looks a lot more organized now! 😄
- BlueDV Connect is now available to everyone. I set the deployment to 100% on the Android store. Will check the crash reports in the upcoming days.
Update 5 sep 2026:
Uploaded a new version of BlueDV Connect with serial support to the Google play store. Now you can connect your Kenwood TH-D75 directly to your Android phone.
Update 4 sep 2026:
Working on EchoLink in BlueDV Radio. The EchoLink feature is not available yet. Still finetuning.
Update 3 sep 2026:
Created gateway software to link echolink to peanut. Some people are testing this software. Waiting for response.
Update 2 sep 2026:
Working on BlueDV Connect. Added support for Android 16 and Serial port.
Update 28-29 aug 2026:
– Working on my BlueDV AMBE for iPhone. The Inrico B01 is working very well.
– BlueDV AMBE for iPhone also works in the background with the Inrico. Very nice!
– iWatch is also working with BlueDV AMBE for iPhone.
