The APRS feature is experimental and new in version 1.0.28. When the Kenwood TH-D75 is in D-Star mode, it will sent your GPS information to aprs.fi.
On BlueDV Connect
- Enable APRS in the setup of BlueDV Connect
On your Kenwood TH-D75
- Enable your Build-in-GPS ( MENU 400 )
- Set “GPS info in frame” to on ( MENU 630 )
- Disable “Auto TX” ( MENU 632 ) ( never turn this on!! )
- Make sure “APRS Sentence” is checked ( MENU 631 )
Once you Kenwood TH-D75 has seen GPS signals, the GPS information will be sent to aprs.fi once you press the PTT.
