Externally Linked Rooms

Rooms that are linked to analog systems will have a “-R” at the end or “RE-” at the beginning of the room name. For example, “RE-SPAIN” or “SPAIN-R”.

There are some rules regarding these rooms:

  • It is not allowed to link an analog system that is also connected to a digital system like DMR, Fusion, or D-Star. You can connect digital systems via an ambeserver, which will also preserve the call of the speaker.
  • It is not allowed to link/bridge more than one system to a room. Peanut is not made to bridge systems.
  • It is not allowed to link to non amateur networks! Peanut is only for HAMs.
  • You must use a special call to link your analog system. This call will be provided by the Peanut team.
