APRS Radar

APRS Radar is a simple application for radio amateurs that provides a radar-style view of APRS stations around you.

The idea is to make APRS information easy to read without having to look at a traditional map all the time. Stations are displayed relative to your position, making it easy to see who is nearby, in which direction they are located and how far away they are.

APRS Radar is intended as a lightweight addition to the normal APRS experience and is especially useful when experimenting with APRS or when running it on a dedicated computer or display.

Features

  • Radar-style display of nearby APRS stations
  • Shows callsigns around your location
  • Distance and direction information
  • Uses live APRS information
  • Simple and clean interface
  • Designed for amateur radio use
  • Lightweight application
  • Free to use

The software is one of my hobby projects and is developed in my spare time. New functions and improvements may be added over time.

Please keep in mind that this is amateur radio software and may still contain bugs.

Have fun experimenting!
